Hexham based garden maintenance company is looking to employ a Horticulture apprentice to learn all aspects of the business from customer engagement to carrying out garden maintenance services.

- Able to listen to and follow direction
- Understanding the need to use PPE
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
- Own transport would be great but not essential.
- A keenness to learn.
- Polite and friendly
- Understand the need to work in all weathers
- A genuine interest in horticulture
- A “can-do” attitude
GCSE grade 3-9 (A – D) in English and Maths or equivalent
GCSE grade 3-9 (A – D) in English and Maths or equivalent required to progress onto this apprenticeship. Evidence will be required prior to enrolment.
Full time employment with the opportunity to progress with further qualifications and responsibilities.
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers, hot and cold, carrying out physical tasks using the relevant tools and equipment
This opportunity is open to all ages 16 years and over.
You will be required to complete an initial assessment and diagnostic in maths and English.
