The trainee sill be trained to use Heidelberg printing presses and associated equipment to give a full understanding of the print trade and their customers. The trainee will liaison with studio designers and print finishers to ensure the final printed job is satisfactory to the customers’ demands.
Full training will be given in all aspects of Litho printing and management of machinery which needs concentration and an ability to solve problems when they arise
Must be flexible, reliable, honest, and willing to learn
Minimum of GCSE A-E / 9-3 or equivalent
Full training in Litho Printing which will give the applicant an idea of a working printers with all aspects of the work carried out in a working print room.
We are a busy work site and additional overtime, and shift work may become available.
The wage will be dependant on Age
Work will be carried out at our Washington Site
The job entails learning all aspects of the printing business with help from a member of staff who will train the apprentice, giving help and support with any problems that may occur.
The site is easily accessible by local bus services, and there is employee parking.
There is a small canteen and local shops are not far.
