Students who are 19 years and above who are wanting to apply for a University Degree in: Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Child Nursing, Learning Disability Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Occupational Health, ODP, Public Health, Health.
You will need a minimum of 4 GCSE’s at grade C or a full level 2 plus Maths and English at level 2.
You will also need to complete an English and Maths assessment and attend an interview.

Continuous Assessment involving building a portfolio to include :
Essays, reports, projects, academic posters, leaflets, internal exams approx. three assessments per unit and two internal examinations over the whole diploma.
Deadlines and submission dates set internally and are available on the Access Mooodle website.
All assignments are collated into an individual portfolio which are assessed internally and are subject to internal and external moderators
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
After successfully completing your course you could progress onto a university courses and progression to careers in the NHS and the Caring Professions.
Average salary for qualified Nursing staff = £23,000 approx.
