What’s it all about?

A career in health and social care can give you the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives. The sector includes a wide range of roles, with different skills required and varying levels of demand.

You wil study human lifespan development, working in health and socail care, anatomy and physicology, research in health and care, meeting needs and a detailed and impactful workplacement.

You will need 5 GCSEs at grade 4 - 9, including Maths and English.

English and Math's are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.

There are also a range of additional units to be undertaken to further extend students knowledge of health and social care issues. In addition to this students undertake 100 hours of practical placement across the two years in a range of placements.

Mon-Fri, between 9am-4pm. Days and times of study are subject to change. Timetables are confirmed at the start of term.
