The core element of the T Level in Health will boost your knowledge in a range of topics such as the principles of good scientific and clinical practice, as well as fundamental scientific concepts alongside an understanding of standard operating procedures, management of equipment and work areas, stock control and storage, and the importance of quality standards and health and safety. You will also learn how to manage data in a healthcare setting.
Your occupational specialism will cover all aspects of adult nursing including physiological readings and how to care for service users in different settings and with different needs. Practical practice sessions will be carried out in our 3 bed Health Hub and assisted living area.
Core knowledge is assessed through a combination of written exams and an employer-set project. Specialist knowledge and skills are assessed through a combination of a written exam and practical projects.

You'll spend 80% of your time on academic studies and 20% on a 45-day work placement, totalling over 315 hours of practical exposure. This T Level in supporting the Adult Nurse is specifically for those who wish to pursue a career in Nursing, the normal progression route following successful completion of this course would be onto a Nursing degree
T Levels are the equivalent to achieving 3 A-Levels and will be worth UCAS points. For example, a T Level Distinction* is worth the same as 3 A-Levels at A*.
The qualification will be recognised by universities and other education providers for students who wish to further their studies.
