What’s it all about?

The T Level Foundation focuses on core scientific and healthcare knowledge combined with specialised practical experience. The course enables you to study a level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care, develop clinical skills and knowledge and application of Real World Maths which will all prepare you for progressing onto a Level 3 programme.

This qualification is designed in consultation with healthcare professionals to ensure relevance and rigor. It merges classroom learning with practical application, making it a dynamic choice for young people eager to make an immediate impact in healthcare.

You will need 3 GCSE's at grade 4-9 including English, Maths and ideally a science based GCSE. You will also need an enhanced DBS check to enable you to attend placement (we fund this for you).

The T Level Foundation in Health & Science is designed to launch your career in healthcare with a robust blend of classroom learning and extensive real-world experience. Perfect for post-GCSE students passionate about making a meaningful impact in health and science, but not quite ready for the T-Level, the course provides a solid foundation to build on and successfully progress.

Embedded into your programme, you will develop knowledge of Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health and Social Care, Human Growth and Development, Anatomy and Physiology and Safeguarding and Protection. In addition, you will develop core digital and clinical skills and Real World Maths.

What’s next?

Upon completing this course, you’ll be fully equipped to step into our T-Level in Health programme. You will be able to choose from a selection of pathways to study, these include Adult Nursing, Mental Health or Therapy Teams.
