Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of animal care and management with
our T Level in Animal Care and Management: Animal Science and Health. Tailored
for passionate students, this comprehensive full-time course blends rigorous
academic study with practical experience. Spend 80% of your time on campus
delving into modules such as animal anatomy, biology, ecology, and biodiversity,
under the expert guidance of our dedicated staff. The remaining 20% is dedicated
to hands-on placements, providing real-world experience that is invaluable for
your future career.

You will need 5 GCSE's at grade 4-9, including in English, Maths and Science

19+ please enquire You will need to provide your own stationery and you will be given the opportunity to take part in trips and visits throughout the course, which may incur a cost.

You will spend 80% of your time in college and 20% on an industry placement with an employer.

In college, you will participate in a mix of learning activities including lectures, independent and collaborative sessions, and practical and theoretical workshops.

At the end of your first year, you will complete two externally marked exams and an employer set project.

Throughout the second year of study, you will complete a variety of assignments linked to the occupational specialism,

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.

As part of your course you will complete a minimum of 315 hours (45 days) in industry placement with an employer.

Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm. Days and times of study are subject to change. Timetables are confirmed at the start of term.

Following the successful completion of the T Level course, you could progress into Higher Education by studying a related degree at university, or you could enter the animal management sector via an apprenticeship or entry level role.
