Tailored for passionate students, this comprehensive full-time course blends rigorous academic study with practical experience. Spend 80% of your time on campus delving into modules such as animal anatomy, biology, ecology, and biodiversity, under the expert guidance of our dedicated staff. The remaining 20% is dedicated to hands-on placements, providing real-world experience that is invaluable for your future career.

GCSE Maths and English are vital for providing a strong foundation for your studies and future career. Proficiency in Maths ensures you can handle data analysis, budgeting, and problem-solving, all essential in animal care. English skills are crucial for effective communication, report writing, and understanding complex information.
These core subjects support your success in the programme and enhance your employability, enabling you to excel in the animal care industry.

At the heart of the T Level is the invaluable industry experience, giving you an edge over purely academic pathways when entering the workforce. You’ll gain firsthand insight into the animal care industry and start building connections with potential employers. Our industry placements allow you to apply your studies in real-world settings, developing essential skills and confirming your career aspirations.

Spend at least 45 days in a workplace, enriching your CV and enhancing your interview prospects by showcasing your practical experience. There’s even the potential to secure a job or apprenticeship with your placement employer post-graduation. Placements can be arranged as day release, block release, or a combination, and can be split between up to two employers. Join us to gain the experience that sets you apart in the animal care industry.
