Adam described his time at Hartlepool Sixth Form as fun and friendly. He enjoyed that his course covered lots of important topics and the great facilities he had access to.
He said: “Attending Hartlepool Sixth Form was an amazing experience for me.
“One of the main reasons I chose the sixth form was the scholarship programme they provided which meant I could combine my studies with an elite coaching programme and have the chance to be part of the Rugby Academy which I loved.
“I’d definitely say that if it wasn’t for the amazing support from the staff I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
Adam, who was born in North Yorkshire, also played junior rugby with Middlesbrough RFC, Billingham RFC and sixth form partners Darlington Mowden Park before joining the Newcastle Falcons’ academy, making his senior debut in 2017.
Continuing his meteoric rise, he scored a hat-trick on his England debut against Canada in July 2021, earning the fans’ man of the match in the process, and going on to to be invited to further England training squads during the 2021-22 season.
