Matthew described his time at Hartlepool Sixth From as fun and educational.
He said:
“I loved being a part of the sport academy, being able to combine football with my studies brought a range of opportunities my way, including attending England College National Team Trials then being picked for the squad.
The subjects I studied prepared me well for university, I already have a broadened knowledge than most students in my class. In a way, it has made my first year of university significantly easier.
The facilities available to us were great for such a small college. We had full use of gym equipment and fields which were in good condition throughout the year.”
Matthew loved that he was able to combine his love of football with studying business so that he could progress onto University.
