Hartlepool Sixth Form student Chloe Roberts is hoping to be crowned Miss Teen Great Britain later this year.
Chloe, who is studying Health & Social Care, has made it to the grand final of the prestigious competition after being named Miss Teen Hartlepool.
The 17-year-old is using her platform to raise awareness of mental health issues and suicide prevention, two issues very close to her heart, helping spread positive messages on social media, fundraising for her local children’s ward before lockdown and donating to local foodbanks.
Chloe also created a two-minute video featuring her fellow contestants who have been sharing their favourite inspirational quotes.
“To win the regional title of Miss Teen Hartlepool and be chosen as one of the finalists is an incredible feeling,” she said. “Miss Teen Great Britain is more than a beauty pageant as it also involves helping charities, doing community work, and inspiring and educating others.
“I cannot wait to represent my community at the grand finals in October and I am really excited to see all my pageant family again.“
More than just a beauty contest, Miss Teen Great Britain celebrates teenagers, their achievements and empowering them. Established in 2011, the competition has raised over £500,000 to support charities across the UK.
It will be the second time Chloe has reached the grand finals after she was named Miss Teen High Wycombe in 2019.
