Luke, who was a member of the sixth form football academy team, thought the teaching staff at Hartlepool Sixth Form were great.
He said:
“I’m going to miss the sixth form, I’ve loved the experience – it’s given me more independence than school to develop and work from my own initiative.
You really learn to work for yourself rather than relying on the teachers and I’m really looking forward to working towards a career in physics.”
